  • Fun wagon for the money

After reading many expert reviews on the Imprezas acceleration, the first thing I tried out was its get up and go. Not only was I impressed with its acceleration from a complete stop, but also its ability to pass vehicles on the highway going up hill. Having traded in a late model Cadillac with a V8 engine, I feel confidant in driving the Impreza with comfort, not only in the City but also on the highway.
  • Exceeded expectations on every level. Great car

Thought we would likely buy a Forrester but ride was too rough so tried a red Impreza hatchback premium with moonroof. WOW! while it is smaller and lower, the ride and handling blew us away. Not to mention the much lower price. Our kids are gone so with just us, we leave the back seats flat down and could easily nap back there on trips while the other is driving. Our first short road trip was 2 hours each way and registered 36.8MPG! The highway manners are impressive as well. We love this car and our only complaint is lack of a CD player which is not available if you want a sunroof, which is the greatest invention for ventilation ever created. This is moms first NEW car and she is so happy with its solid and substantial feel. We recommend driving one for yourself. Be prepared to be IMPREZED!
  • Solid car but with a few gripes

Ive owned my 2018 Impreza Sport 5-door for only a month, but I feel like its long enough to write a simple review - pros & cons. This is my first Subaru. I was looking for a small-ish AWD car and Subaru was an obvious choice. Overall Im very happy with my pick PROS: -Sleek styling -Great quality inside and out. Nice interior attention to details -Safety features (Eyesight) -Cavernous interior. Car feels much bigger than it is -Great information system -MSRP adds up with options, but overall value after final negotiation is excellent -Fantastic, stable handling on higher speeds and on winding roads CONS: -Very underpowered, especially at low speeds. Slow out of the gate, and very jerky / sluggish acceleration. -Fuel economy ratings seem inflated. -Front seats on sport model could be more supportive -No inside trunk release! (Really!)
